Midland Air Service Experts was delighted to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids last month. April 2016 is the second year that Midland Air has participated in this amazing event that helps fund the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The donations fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial help for families.
Midland Air Service Experts gave $1000 to this wonderful cause and the nationwide event has collected over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been helping with the event since 2014 and her dad’s motorcycle group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids each year.
“My dad’s riding group gets involved every year because they can have a blast and ride motorcycles, all for this incredible cause.” Check out Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The generous motorcycle group may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it because we love the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and sponsoring wonderful events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To find out more about how you can get involved and help the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, click on their site.
